Our social language pragmatic language groups, facilitated by a Certified and Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist, Certified School Psychologist and/or Licensed Clinical Social Worker, help children and teens who need help making friends and understanding social relationships. The groups are modeled on the social thinking curriculum of Michelle Garcia Winner, whose nationally recognized methodology of social cognitive thinking has helped many children improve their peer communication and interaction skills.
Groups that will be offered are:
Pre-school and Kindergarten
Early Elementary School
Middle Elementary School
Middle School
High School
Late High School and Post High School

SUMMER BOOK CLUB
Get ready to read some great books and short stories!
In an age appropriate and grade level group setting facilitated by a Speech and Language Pathologist, this book club will specifically target reading comprehension, higher level language/critical thinking skills in oral and written language formats. Extension projects demonstrating comprehension will be incorporated through multi-media projects.
This Summer Book Club is available for two three-week sessions; 60 minute- sessions will be held three times per week; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Book club groups are formed according to chronological age and grade.

BACK TO SCHOOL WRITING BOOT CAMP
This writing program, offered to students across all grade levels (3-12), will introduce participants to The Hochman Method aka “The Writing Revolution,” an explicit set of sequenced strategies for learning expository writing that can be integrated into any content.
