Samantha Bassett, M.S.,CCC/SLP, is a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist and member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She also holds an Illinois Professional Educator License in Speech and Language Pathology. She received her undergraduate degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences at the University of Maryland and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Rush University.
Samantha currently works as a school speech-language pathologist in an elementary and middle school. Samantha works with students diagnosed with a variety of disorders including expressive and receptive language disorders, fluency disorders, articulation disorders, emotional and behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD and developmental delay. Samantha works alongside and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team which includes: special education teachers, psychologists, social workers, school administrators and general education teachers.
This past summer, Samantha was a counselor at Camp One in a Hundred where she provided therapeutic intervention to children with social language and social-emotional differences.
