Jen Katz, MA, SLP/L, is a speech and language pathologist with 25 years of experience working with children and adolescents ranging from ages 0 through 21. She received her Master’s degree from Northwestern University and has worked with children with varying communication disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, deaf/hard of hearing, cognitive impairments, apraxia, complex learning disabilities, receptive and expressive language disorders and articulation/phonological disorders. She is a current member of the North Suburban Speech and Language Association (NSSLA). Jen is a member of the special education team of a north suburban elementary school, where she conducts evaluations, provides treatment to a caseload of 35 students to help improve their communication skills, collaborates with school staff and parents, and collects data to document progress toward goals.
In her spare time, Jen hangs out with her two daughters and French Lop rabbit. She enjoys reading, biking and playing tennis, and recently self-published a children’s picture book entitled Miss McCuddles Wants Pizza!
