Brooke Westendorf, M.S., CCC-SLP/L is a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist, holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), and is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). In addition, she has an Illinois Professional Educator License in Speech-Language Pathology.
She received her undergraduate degree in Speech & Hearing Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.
As a team member of a suburban public school system, she has provided speech-language services to children and teens with a variety of disabilities including Autism, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, and ADHD. She has experience in assessing and treating disorders of articulation, phonology, fluency, expressive language, language processing, vocabulary, word finding, and social communication.
She has also been a part of Camp One in a Hundred, Inc., since 2014. This clinically based summer day camp provides intensive social cognitive skill training to students who have challenges in social communication abilities resulting from Autism, ADHD, Non-Verbal Learning Disorder, and Anxiety Disorders.
